12 of us went here for lunch for a special occasion. It was fantastic. We each had a different brunch entree and it was wonderful. The flavors were superlative and very unique, unlike some other Mexican American fusion that I have eaten. The wait staff was very accommodating to our large party who arrived unannounced. I would highly recommend this authentic... More

Warm helpful waitstaff, ample portions, lots of mole choices, house made sangria; a very nice and a little surprising dining experience. Try the avocado pie for dessert - sounds weird but was a perfect ending to a delicious meal.

Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and although the lunch menu was quite small we asked for their full menu which had a much larger selection which I thought was very good. The menu has a number of choices within each food category of chicken, pork, beef , fish and vegetarian that avoids the typical Tex-mex offerings that... More

The choices on the menu are minimal, but each dish is chosen and crafted with care. Each menu item describes the provenance, both place and date, of the recipe. They range from relatively modern back to pre-European dishes. Anyone expecting the usual "Mexican" fare served in the US is in for a surprise, and, hopefully, a taste awakening! This is... More

Amazing Oaxacan food. The spicy hot chocolate is wonderful, and all of the dishes I've tried have been unique and delicious.

Unassuming but superb dishes that are not the typical us Mexican restaurant fare. This place is probably my favorite mexican restaurant in Boston

Wow. Where do I start. This place is PHENOMENAL! The quesadilla appetizer is amazing, and the chicken tinga is so great. The Oaxaca chocolate is amazing and the staff is very friendly!

Had a party of 9, ordered tamales, sopes and longaniza for appetizers. All of them were incredibly well made, spiced, and presented. For entrees we had tinga, mole colorado tlaxcalteca, nopales con cerdo, the special which was pork mole, and last but certainly not least, indio vestido. Service was incredibly courteous and polite and they paid attention to our needs... More
