Fabulous food - the chef is very, very good and the food is fine dining. The only draw back is that it is a bit out of the way and you cannot just drop in for a meal. Booking ahead is essential
It doesn't even look like a Restaurant, more like a private house. Sitaued between the railway and the river it's not a great location but the food and service make up for that. Excellent freshly prepared, interesting meals. This is fine Dining at its best....More
We visited The Fen House on Saturday 25/04/15, what a find. The food, setting and staff excellent. Food served up very well on, very professionally done, compliments to the chef. I am sure we will return soon. What good value for money.
I was invited to a meal with friends. This is a very small intimate family run establishment that serves gourmet food. I can't remember the last time I've eaten such good food and had such attentive service. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
