In the heart of the small town on Nantucket Island, called Siasconset, is a little jewel of a restaurant where you bring your own wine. Buy the wine at the Book Store next door to avoid a surcharge, and bring a check or cash. No cc's. Simple menu prepared in the back of the room, using local greens, and local... More

Over the years I have had a number of dinners (and sandwich lunches) at the cafe and they have all been good or excellent. The last dinner was only several days ago. There were four of us, it was just a day before the Cafe closed for the Summer. (N'tucket seasons are notoriously short.) I had a great corn gazpacho... More

The sandwiches were delicious, we had fresh roasted turkey & turkey salad w/their special dressing & toppings in a comfortable very casual setting. It had a lively fun feel.

Just the best food and service anywhere you'll find. The reservation process is a bit daunting. The food is delicious and fresh. Seafood prepared with locally obtained ingredients astonishes the palette in a wonderful way.

Stayed with the friends in Sconset and were invited for dinner. Convenience was a huge plus, as it is only few minutes from the house we stayed. Unassuming exterior, but nice and cozy inside. It is small, maybe can serve up to 30 people, the kitchen is right behind the counter. Nicely decorated by black and white photographs. The service... More

Traveling by bike we rode from Wauwinet to Sconset with our bottle of Pinot Noir from Cisco Vineyards, a stop earlier in the day and had a marvelous dinner: two special salads and two appetizers. The mussels were amazing and the crab cakes the best ever!

We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch while waiting for the Wave bus into town. There were so many choices on the menu, and the sandwiches are made to order. Make sure you bring a friend because you will need to share! So big and tasty. Throw in a bag of chips and some drinks and... More

noisy...great food but the noise level takes away from the dining experience. there are 2 seatings 6 or 8 and about 30 people all at once to be attended to...have to be in the mood for this level of noise...

Fabulous menu with specials that made your mouth water as everything here was delectable! Love the great service, knowledgeable waiters and friendly attention to every detail. Went back 3 more times while on island! Must save room for dessert as it's always a selection of delights!

We made reservation at one of our favorite Nantucket restaurants over 3 weeks ago. They called Sunday to confirm our reservation for Tuesday. We had a table for five - another couple wanted to join us and called earlier in day to add to table - they were told they could not so my friends made other arrangements - then... More
