This place would be better if they got rid of Nate, the deadpan waiter. He is without doubt the worst waiter that we had during two weeks in town. He speaks in a monotone, does not make eye contact and is totally unhelpful. Despite telling him that we had been there before (several times) he still had to go thru... More

Dear Howland_0wl, I am sorry that you did not receive the service that should have been delivered to you. We never want that to happen. We will use this as a reminder that the guest experience is more important than any bad day we may be having. I understand that even though your waiter has received rave reviews in the... More

Simply put, over priced and poor service. Surly waiter who was totally incapable of pouring a glass of wine without dribbling it over the table. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I was heading to another restaurant when we came upon Sage. So glad we tried it out, great food and presentation. The Boar Pizza was to die for and the lobster sliders were amazing. The truffle fries were delicious and plentiful. They had a small outside seating and the inside décor was adorable. Our waiter was a funny guy and... More

Hi raquelk24, I am very appreciative of your praise. It means a lot to everyone here at Sage. We are always in the hunt for improvement and your 4 stars make me think there is more for us to do. So hows this? Come back, try us again, let's see if we can get that to 5 stars! Thanks again. More

Really enjoyed our visit to Sage Inn. A warm, friendly welcome and excellent service from Nate who made sure we were well looked after and was very helpful in accommodating the vegan member in our group. A great selection of cocktails and amazing good quality. American style tapas. We recommend the sliders as well as the broccolini and crab cake... More

Top notch. Waiter Brian at the entrance convinced us to dine based upon his description of the offerings within. Mixologist Corey provided us top shelf service. Food was awesome - lamb sliders; glazed duck; eggplant fries. A definite oasis from the craziness of Commercial Street after a day of sun and festivities. You are treated as if you are a... More

from the menu to the ambiance, this establishment got it right. we were there for the seafood, and the seafood didn't disappoint. Escargot were a hit. Salad was perfect, lobster flatbread was a hit, and sliders were unreal

The food was actually pretty good, so I am not sure why Sage was so empty the times I visited. The wild boar flatbread was really delicious, but eating in a near empty restaurant is just odd. Sage bills itself as a restaurant, but it is really a lounge. Most of the seating is lounge seating with cocktail tables -... More

We have eaten at the Sage before and seen shows there and it is one of our favorite places in Ptown. A recent event at the Sage made me all that more of a fan and the customer service enough for me to sign up at Trip Advisor. The Sage out did themselves. We were out for the night and... More

We love the "Calamari Sisters" show that has played the last couple of years.. We have often enjoyed SAGE dinners. But the other night was a little different than usual. We went to SAGE for evening cocktails. There were some women waiting for an inside table and we just wanted drinks so we asked if we could just take ourselves... More

Brian was our reason for stopping in this restaurant. He did an excellent telling people about the creative dishes and drinks in his soft voice. The actual experience was less interesting than Brian's delivery of the restaurants assets. Although the cocktails are extremely creative (and mostly good), the small plates varied in size--some really small and some a decent size... More
