This bakery is phenomenal. The malasadas ( fried dough) baked fresh daily is phenomenal. We all had coffee and it was also excellent. This bakery is a must.

Food was fine, but certainly not abundant. No free refills on coffee. Not overly friendly. No real ambiance.

These people have recipies for all kinds of deserts and sweets from the islands and the Portuguese mainland. You can eat in or take out for your home use. It is a small... More

I'm Portuguese and come from a very heavily Portuguese populated area where I've tasted my fair share of Portuguese desserts and this bakery wasn't at all up to par. The traditional Portuguese baked goods weren't very good and were a little stale.

We stopped in to this little bakery and we decided to try some fried dough (sounded interesting). We then ate it on the way back to Hyannis where we were staying and we almost made the 1.5 HR drive back to get more, take my advice and at least try a bit and you'll be hooked

Have been going there for 40 years and get great pastry. You have to go early to get some of the specialty ones but does not disappoint! Has a few tables to sit and take a break as you walk Commercial St!

I yield to no man in my love for Portuguese custard tarts. Paired with a good coffee, they are one of the finest things in God's creation, so there was no way I wasn't visiting this place. We went in for breakfast and sat at one of the formica tables - the surroundings were very like being in a cafe... More
