I love visiting this place! It is always crowded, but it's totally worth it! Fresh deserts, teas, coffees, pastry... I mean, it's just a perfect place for those 'empty calories'!!!

This was our last stop before getting in the car for the long drive home. I picked up some fresh bread and it was gone before we knew it The kids loved it. I wish I bought more!

What a beautiful selection of pastries. One more mouth watering than the other. The place was packed with diners. It's very small and was way too crowded in for my liking. The custard tarts are devine, the more burnt on top the better I like...More

Strolling up and down Commercial Avenue? Then visit the Portuguese Bakery for pastry, a sandwich, and coffee. Tight space, lots of patrons, but worth the squeeze. You can sit inside, or take your munchies down to Macmillan wharf and watch the boats and ducks. Reasonable...More

This was one of the best places to get a good breakfast. The ham and cheese croissant was so good I had to go back twice.

Very average food. Soup was salty, grilled sandwiches were boring. But did have a lovely caramel creme dessert.

The Portuguese deep fried treats called malassadas are to die for! The dough is fried until golden brown, then tossed in cinnamon sugar. The best breakfast I've had in along time.

Wonderful, delectable and Rich desserts! Lunch was reasonably priced for ptown but you get what you pay for. Very disappointing Portuguese soup and a tuna sandwich with about 2 ozs of tuna. Fries were good.

I believe there was a dog in there when I was there but it is a very tiny bakery and there is a spot to tie a dog up outside if you're going in to grab something quick.
