I went with my wife and another couple and enjoyed the ambiance in the dining area. The room felt elegant but cozy. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the BLG burger and pomme frites; it was excellent. The had some great beers to choose from as well. Everyone in our party liked their meals. Definitely recommend.

This place has turned around from a few years back. Excellent food, very well presented, in a nice atmosphere, adequately priced and very good service. Definitely the best dining experience in Northampton. I would also add that it beats the "fine dining" restaurants in Amherst

So we stop here for a nice dinner on our last night in town. Some of the food was great, other was good and some wasn't that good. We had steak tartare and oyster as appetizers. The tartare was delicious and the oyster were great. Then we had three different entrees. 1. The burger was good but not a good... More

We found Les Gras online, and the reviews were promising. The meal was not merely promising, it was the best we've found in Northampton in multiple trips. The menu is small, and seasonal. The space is simple, white table cloth with butcher paper on top. There's a small bar, with a light buzz, including people eating at the bar. Service... More

Eight of us shared a delicious meal, most of which derived from locally sourced ingredients. The pork and beef was spectacular with rich but non overly seasoned sauces. Vegetables in season dominated the sides and were prepared with the utmost care. Finally, the desserts must be tried as they showcase the restaurant's strengths. The menu changes frequently.

Located outside of downtown NoHo and across from the town's historic Forbes Library, this place was inviting and friendly. Service was attentive and informative. Try their Steamed Mussels with chilies, bacon and white wine. Yummy. Their pumpkin risotto with rice, sage brown butter and parmesean cheese was a great entree to end a perfect autumn day.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Every dish I tried was delicious. Still thinking about the fried pickles and root vegetables. Nice meals are rare with 3 kids so I don't waste my time trying a restaurant more than once. I would return to Bistro Les Gras in a heartbeat!

This restaurant tries hard to give a French dining experience and it mostly succeeds. I had the duck confit appetizer ($11) and bluefish ($21). The duck had a crispy exterior and a very nice duck flavor overall. However, it came out a little too salty. It was served with a fruit compote on top of the duck and a spoon... More

Every time I visit Bistro Les Gras I'm impressed with the food. Every dish is great, whether it's the vichyssoise or the hamburger. Appetizers always terrific. Service great. Wine list impressive.
