We don't ever visit our old home town without a visit here. Park Lunch is a mainstay in Newburyport. If the menu is rather unexciting, the food is well-prepared, the service excellent and friendly, and the place has a great local atmosphere. Locals come here for good seafood … most of it fired … and there are other choices like... More

A friend recently recommended Park Lunch for their fried seafood, so we decided to check it out. It's a neighborhood diner, the walls are filled with sports photos and college banners from all over the US. Seating is comprised of booths, some tables and a few high tops in the bar area. Staff was friendly and provided quick service. We... More

The fried scallops were sliced in thirds not one whole one maybe trying to fill the plate not a good idea...The steak fries are not like the steak fries back in the day....cutting corners is not a good thing ...have discussed this with several people all agree..

A local favorite bar and restaurant for fresh seafood...small but worth the wait. Just a short ride from Newburyport Center. It is not on the water.

Consistent, incredibly fresh, fried clams. The batter is light and fluffy, and not greasy at all! Great service! I even had a BLT sandwich and that was delicious also! Best seafood we have had in Newburyport area.

Stopped in for lunch on a recent visit to Newbury port. I ordered the small, way to many clams to eat. The food was excellent, so was the Arnold Palmer. The clam chowder was some of the best I have ever had.

Best place in town for fried clams. Love everything on the menu...nothing fancy but great food. They don't take reservations and it can be a long wait depending on the time of day.
