Chicken barbeque sandwiches, a local sandwich, is delicious. Made the old fashioned way. Also the other meals were very good. Nice atmosphere on the river andlow priced. Specials seem very good also. Nice wait staff.

We were in the mood to try a new place and found this hidden gem! I had pan seared scallops with spinach ravioli and Alfredo sauce and it was divine! The others in my party had steak and steak tips and they were both very pleased. The service was excellent and attentive with being over the top. You've got the... More

BBQ sandwich just like the old days. Have not had one in ages. Completely stuffed with chicken. The seafood chowda was very good. Rustic bar type of atmosphere. Servers extremely friendly. Worth a visit. Not expensive. Give it a try. Burgers were huge

Had dinner a bit after 5:30 on a Thursday. As others have said it appears plain, but don't judge this book by its cover. There is the requisite rock music, games on 3 tv's around the bar, news on in the dining area. TVs are not blaring so it is not a cacophony. I was welcomed to sit anywhere, took... More

Many feel (we did too originally) that this place is just a bar/dive. WRONG! It is an amazingly good restaurant. It is no frills but the location is awesome - sits right on the water. Other restaurants near it are fancier but the food isn't as good. They get their meats from Butcher Boy in NA. Their Seafood Chowder is... More

We have been here before but never by boat on the Merrimack River. Although one can drive to the restaurant, there is a boat dock so one can get there on the river. It was a wonderful experience. The four of us had the chicken barbs which is a specialty of theirs. They were excellent.

Visited for lunch. Restaurant was quiet and we were able to sit in a booth overlooking the river. Asked the waitress for recommendations and she was spot on. We had the lunch special of ravioli with sausage and meatballs. It came with fresh parmigiano cheese grated on as well as fresh basil. The fresh basil was amazing touch. My husband... More

From the outside your first reaction would be to skip this address. Located between a main road and a pond in a small wooden house, nothing really attractive. That's said the food is just great. One of the best red thuna I ever ate. Shell with spinach ravioles served with Alfredo sauce. The insignificance of the place is suddenly transcended... More

We recently had their "lobster special" for two which includes 2 cups of seafood chowder, one dish of steamers, and 2 lobster rolls. Delicious and reasonable.
