Authentic New England fish house recommended by this salty new englander. Parking out back, get here early so the steamers don't run out.

Atmosphere is rustic and welcoming starting at the front door. Big welcome and smile from the hostess and impeccable service from the waitress and even the manager came over towards the end of our dinner with a big smile...refreshing. The food was very good for all three of us. The bread was even very good particularly because it came warmed.... More
My wife and do not frequent Turners as much as we like, because as Yogi Berra once said, "it is so crowded that nobody goes there anymore". Getting into Turners on any given night is a challenge with a guaranteed wait. The wait is worth it. We used Open table to make a timed arrival, with the promise to seat... More
My wife and I visited Turner's for a Valentine's dinner. We had attentive service and wonderful food. Our drinks came out quickly. Even though it was busy we never felt rushed. The restaurant was a very nice ambiance with comfortable spacing between the tables. It was a very enjoyable evening.
We go often and sit at the oyster bar, fresh seafood. nice atmosphere. Love shrimp cocktail and my husband gets raw sampler. Love oysters rockafeller.. Lobster Bisque delish..
This is another Family run restaurant in Melrose, MA. Open 7 days a week, fresh seafood from a Family fish business. This four generation business is celebrating its 20th year with this restaurant in Melrose
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here for dinner. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the lobster pie. Both dishes were fantastic. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was comfortable. We would definitely go back again!
We have been to Turner's many times and have a son who worked there. They are great at what they do. The food is a bit pricey but in this case you do get what you paid for. It is expertly prepared, waitstaff is generally great. The restaurant is often quite busy so I would recommend making a reservation.
Went to Turners with family. Friendly staff, excellent service and amazing seafood. Calamari was delicious and the waitress took time to tell us the different ways they are prepared. The chowder and mussels came out paying hot as well as our seafood trio. Nothing was overlooked and it made the meal so enjoyable for all of us. There is also... More
Been going here for years. They are pricy, but it is worth it. No one does the dimly lit, homey family vibe New England seafood restaurant thing like turners. It's not the case but it's easy to imagine turners melrose as the 100 year old family restaurant that legal modeled all their traditional New England dining rooms and menu after.... More
