Our favorite pizza is made right here at La Cascia's. Oh, so good. I've not had a bad item. We often get some of the catering dishes so we have leftovers - the lasagna is outstanding and freezes wonderfully using our Food Saver system. Sausage and Peppers; veggies; bakery items - all so good. Sometimes service is a bit lacking... More

Steak tips subs are the best. Pizza is old school deep dish Italian pie. Bread is made fresh and sliced to order. Do yourself a favor and put LaCascias in your GPS and enjoy

A great bakery, especially the bread and pastries. But the subs, the SUBS! To die for. Fresh sliced meats and cheeses on their fine rolls. I've been going there since 1972, and always do when I am back in town.

My Mother-In-Law was born and raised in Medford and every trip to Boston includes a visit to Medford and a stop at LaCascia's to bring a 1/2 dozen loaves of their incredible bread back home for the whole family. Of course, boxes of canolis, butter cookies are alos included. The best bakery anywhere!!!

Not just a bakery....a bakery and SANDWICH SHOP. The sandwiches are out of this world terrific. Service is FAST (too fast for me sometimes....lol) The sandwiches are large enough for at LEAST two meals! They are so polite and accommodating as I order mine pretty basic and LaCascia's always accommodates. There are a couple tables to eat in....we do as... More

If you want to experience a really good Boston area "sub shop" combined with a first class neighborhood Italian bakery, this is the place. La Cascia is a legend in Medford and surrounding towns. I always stop here for a large super Italian sub before heading south to Maryland on Amtrak. The only problem is my neighboring passengers on the... More

I was on Main St and needed lunch, so I stopped at La Cascia's. It was a good choice. I had one of the special subs (chicken and proscuito with peppers and cheese) and it was great. Actually saved 1/2 and had it the next day as well. In addition while there I picked up a dozen eggs, some great... More

We had sandwiches there, and the prices were way too high. Sandwiches were alright, but small for the associated cost - nothing to rave about (as they once were).

If you grew up with Italians and know good meatballs... then you know how hard it is to find a good meatball made at a restaurant, like Grandma's, Mom's or Auntie's use to make. A nightmare, really, so we don't order them unless we find a gem. What we found is tasteless or dried-up inside, cardboard like meatballs almost 80%... More
