Loved this place! Been visiting this area for years but hadn't eaten here, what a mistake! Great find. Seafood, mexican flare, creative farm-to-table ingredients we had a lovely time and will be back again real soon.

Had dinner on Friday night in the Blue Room. Despite the tavern side being packed, the Blue Room was not noisy. Service was good, the food was excellent. The haddock was delicious, the portion was very generous, enough for dinner and lunch the next day. My friends were equally pleased with their choices: Fish and chips and a wrap. I... More

Do not hesitate (like we did) to come for brunch! Everything we ordered was well-prepared and fresh, including the orange slices on our plates. They serve Jim's Organic coffee - a delicious, locally-sourced surprise; strong and mellow. Sunday was our first visit to this welcoming venue since it ceased being the Mattapoisett Inn, but we will make up for it... More

We visit about once a month. Great service, food is always great, and kids menu options plentiful. The speciatly pizzas and fish tacos are always a hit.

You've got to love the quaint charm, comfortable atmosphere and overall consistent fare at the Inn, however our most recent visit was an evening of highs and lows. Always fun to sit on the lounge side for a more lively atmosphere, we had a reservation for 6:30 for 4. Great hostess and wait staff but could somebody please turn down,... More

The kind of place you want to return to often. Warm, inviting atmosphere at this historic seaside restaurant, bar and inn. Seasonal menus, excellent live entertainment, crackling fireplace during the winter and porch dining during the warmer months. A must to visit!

I have been going to this place in several different incarnations since the 1950's. I would say it is at the top of its game presently. Have visited the restaurant several times since the summer even though I now live in NJ. Ambitious menu for this part of the world, but they pull it off well. All the seafood is... More

What a great place! Whether a date night or with friends! I frequent this place a lot & it's always a fun time! The food, drinks & services have always been an A+. The Mattapoisett harbor is right across the street & there's a screened in front porch to sit on top take in the sunset or an afternoon breeze.... More

We took tripadvisor's recommendation and decided that The Inn on Shipyard Park. We both ordered fish and chips. Of course a cocktail to start off our meal. We eadh got sizable piece of fish accompanied with fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. The meal was delicious. This is an old building with lots of colonial charm. My wife said we will... More
