A good spot on the harbor with a good local feel, a casual and comfortable place to dine. Lobsters were fresh, caught by the owner each day. Service is good and prices were reasonable for the lobsters we had.

This local restaurant is a favorite of the locals for good reason - it's incredible. I had the best lobster roll I've ever had, and my wife's seafood was incredible. (Warning: All of the prices on other dishes are extremely reasonable, but I paid extra...More

Had a great dinner there with my Mom for their Wednesday night Lobster for two special. Excellent service, friendly, cozy, and amazing food!

Kind of a greasy spoon. Known for their outstanding steak tips and seafood. Fried clams and fries are good. View is spectacular, especially during a storm. In a storm, be prepared to run.

The place is small and friendly. Reminded us of a old pub in London, UK. Very picturesque. The service was nice and the waitress gave us good advices. The portions are plentiful, but the food was a little too greasy for our tastes.

On our trip to the Northeast we had occasion to try clam chowders at several restaurants in many towns. The Barnacles was the best, plenty of clams and not that many potatoes.

Wonderful views of Marblehead harbor, especially from the few outdoor tables, in good weather. One of the few dining places in town on the water! Too many bad, greasy choices, such as mediocre fish & chips & overly mayonnaised cole slaw. Discovering sliced, raw white...More
