The owners graciously hosted a lunch for our family following a funeral mass. The service was great. The food was delicious and the local beers hit the spot.

We were given a weekend away at this establishment as a wedding present. We had no expectations before going but all I can say is wow. We were welcomed by the proprietor, Eiran and shown a beautiful room for our stay. We learned that Eiran and his wife Michelle totally transformed the inn over the past 5 years. The inn... More
My wife and I stayed here for a few nights while visiting family in Lenox. Everything about the place is nice. Comfortable, unique rooms, and ours was very quiet. Excellent service and the food quality was first rate. My wife and I plan on staying here every time we visit Lenox from now on.
The worst New Years of my life! Where do I begin? We booked a beautiful B&B in Lenox, got tickets to the annual Bach concert in Great Barrington, and planned to ring in 2017 with a dinner for four at the Gateways Inn. Everything was going great until the start of our dinner. We prepaid the amount of $512.32 for... More
Delighted to have found myself unable to return home in the recent Nor'easter - forced to stay once again at The Gateways Inn. The only guest, in this gorgeous mansion I was treated to the lovely Desdemona and a breakfast cooked to order by Michelle in the sunlit dining room by the fireplace.
We wanted to do something different for New Yea's Eve. According to both the internet and our conversations with the owner, there was going to be a special New Year's Eve dinner with music and dancing; very festive. We could not find a link to the music, but it was described by the owner as being very lively, jazz and... More
Did not stay in the hotel, but had dinner at the restaurant on our vacation. Service was far from attentive, and food was fine but underwhelming. Not worth the expense.
We stumble upon this old treasure on a last minute trip to Lenox, Ma. Great live music, friendly patrons and good drinks. Not sure if it was the day or time of year but it was mostly an older crowd (60+) which frankly we loved. This place so cool. GO!
Lovely inn with nice ambiance. The pre-fixe menu of two, three or four courses has multiple options in each course. The butternut bisque and lamb stew were good. The beet salad had very few pieces of beets but was tasty. The salmon really fell short. While perfectly cooked, it seemed very plain, as the lemon butter didn't add much flavor.... More
