The Green Man at Thriplow rears its own rare breed Berkshire pigs apparently. Although we were assured by Sarah, our charming waitress, that they had gone to piggie heaven they weren’t on the menu. What we had was excellent though. Diana had gravadlax followed by...More

I can’t believe I’ve only just found this amazing pub! Went last night with visiting friends and their greyhound after many recommendations as THE place to eat in the area. I absolutely loved the traditional charm, the fairy lights, the decor etc etc. The food...More

What a great example of a well run community-owned village pub. As soon as we walked in the staff were welcoming and sorted us out with a G&T from their selection of 38 gins! We ordered a selection of tapas which ranged from £3-6 each....More

They do a great gluten free offering. Separate menu, though I wouldn’t advise the gluten free gravy as it’s made from a packet and would ruin the gorgeous food so I didn’t have any. Everything I had was excellent.
