Had fish chowder very good. The baked haddock was huge and very good. The wife had clam chowder also good . The sea food platter was out standing .the staff was friendly and helpful. Would have given them five stars but no steamers.

If your a seafood person this place is for you. Fried seafood and lobster rolls are all good. On a hot summer evening when it is too hot to grill we come here and get lobster rolls. Everything they serve here is very good however...More

We were craving fried clams after a day at the beach. We almost didn't go in when we saw the size of the restaurant and no liquor. Who doesn't want a cold beer with their seafood?? So glad we decided to stay, food was made...More

Small, utilitarian (and spotless) dining room serves up truly memorable seafood: sweet, fresh lobster rolls, grilled scallops, fried clams, hand cut French fries...yes there are better known places both up and down Rte 133, but this place is just about perfect.

After waiting for way to long at the Clambox, we decided to try the Ipswich Clambake Co. The clams were good and the scallops were yummy. If the tartar sauce was upgraded, this would earn 4 stars!

Drove by Clambox because the line was too long. Clambake had parking spot right in front, and one person in line. Don't understand that. My wife and I ordered a pint of clams and a pint of scallops, thinking we could snarf that based on...More

Our party of three visited just before noon on a weekday and opted for indoor seating. We ordered at the counter and took our seats. Our meals were prepared to perfection, and included outstanding clam chowder with a balance of clams and potatoes; clam strips...More
