A little shop just south of Housatonic, but VERY much worth the trip from anywhere (within reason). Consistent quality. Sourdough for the gourmet! Many restaurants use their breads for good reason - none better hereabouts.

We have been coming to the bakery for about 20 years now! We buy the place out every time and freeze the loaves between visits. The chocolate bread is world class!

If you like bread, you will love this place! So many varieties. Baked fresh daily. Home-made soups. Not really a restaurant, but there is outdoor seating. If you are in the area, definitely stop there.

Small retail with different baked goods. The baguette was a bit chewy. Anothet bread tasted at the register was pretty good. A pumpkin and flaxseed bread was unique and tasty.

A lovely little facility just south of Housatonic on Rte 183. You will know you are near because of the delightful aroma of bread in the air. A wide variety of delicious baked good (some at a discount- "day old" is nearly as good as today's). Wonderful sough dough loaves and rolls. The pizza crust is the best I have... More

Happy to see that my favorite bake shop has not been adversely impacted by its newfound fame! Still the best Friday pizza place, morning glory muffins, soups, and gluten free bed!

After eating some delicious home-baked bread at our bed and breakfast we stopped by the bakery to bring a couple of loaves home with us. The flax bread is great and although we didn't try it, our hostess at the B&B loves the chocolate bread.

The owner of this bakery was highly featured in a recent Netflix program hosted by a famous food writer. I'm not a foodie so I'm embarrassed to say I can't remember any specifics, but you can look it up. We bought bread, gluten free apple pie, butter, and a made to order pizza. All delicious!!

Busy and crowded, but worth the wait for the breads, muffins, croissants and pastries, just excellent. Also serve home made pizza to go. Filled a shopping bag. Wish I lived closer!

original style sourdough bread using no yeast. Yum. I hear it's even good for those avoiding gluten.
