Went here for their Thanksgiving Buffet while nearby at Vacation Village. I called a few days ahead and made a reservation with a very nice man who was very courteous and accommodating. This restaurant is a nice size seated on the 3rd floor of the Country Inn at Jiminy Peak Ski lodge. It had just snowed the week prior so... More

Reservations made on a holiday weekend. Seated promptly and all staff were very friendly. Meatloaf was great. Liked the beer samples.

We stayed at vacation village which is very close to this restaurant. It must be slow season for Jiminy peak as the summer activities were closed down and there is no snow yet. So this restaurant only had half of the tables open which for us caused a 20 min wait. We sat for 15 min before even seeing our... More

John Harvard's is located in the Country Inn. What a pleasant surprise was our booth in the Barroom and all the different antiques to view around you. We were able to order a craft brew selections. My wife had a pilsner and I an IPA. My wife ordered the Salmon with veggies and I had the Gloster Pot with Shrimp,... More

Right within the Country Inn at jiminy peak, its a nice place for an evening meal and some cocktails. During ski season, I highly suggest you make a reservation in order to eat there. Some times you will see empty tables, but they tell you they can not accommodate you. Food is good, prices are pretty reasonable. Service tends to... More

No problem when 12 of us showed up for a Friday night dinner. Great variety of food and drink. One effecient waitress handled us all and provided us with excellent service AND separate checks. Not an east feat for some. I only had the nachos which were served up with an odd cheese sauce similar to a rarebit sauce. They... More

My husband and I stopped here for dinner while we were in the Berkshires. We had a Caesar salad and mussels marina appetizer. The bread that they bring to the table is thick and soggy. Would never consider dipping this in oil. Had to practically beg for water and waiter never asked if we would like another glass of wine.... More

The warm pretzels with cheese and mustard dipping sauces were a winner. My spouses caesar salad was huge fresh and great. My medium hamburger came out dry and crispy to the point it could not be eaten with the huge bun. I heard the people behind us saying their burger was burnt and so was their grilled sandwich. As we... More

I've been to John Harvard's near Boston a few times... this was no John Harvard's. The beer selection was poor and watered down, the waitress had zero sense of humor and food was not worth the price. I hope they do better in the winter when the snow crowds show up.

Ordered food for pick up. But realized that one item in the food we ordered may not be suitable because of a medical condition. The staff was very understanding and changed the item for us. When we went to pick it up, we offered to buy the original item we ordered and apologized for the inconvenience. The staff were super... More
