We've eaten here many times but this is the first time I've written a review. We always enjoy our meal and always come back. The restaurant is rustic, small and warm. The seafood is what we generally come for. This time the three of us shared a salad and a half. I had the shrimp quesadilla and my wife and... More

Liked the atmosphere. Staff was okay.Soup was forgotten. Baked seafood dish had a full sleeve of ritz crackers,(I know some places do it that way, should ask for light cracker topping) Lobster sandwich was bland. Said it came with a lemon Aioli, if I didn't squeeze the lemon on it it wouldn't of tasted anything. Roll was to thick. Caesar... More

This restaurant was recommended by the Cape Ann Art Museum (another gem) so we gave it a whirl. They won us with the popovers served out of a big basket and big slabs of butter. No weeney dipping oil here! Orders two "cups" of haddock chowder - which were gigantic! And very fresh and flavorful. I thought a cup size... More

Hot, crusty, melt in your mouth popovers. Take half home so you have room for incredible food. My friend and I had fried oysters. I'm never having fried oysters any where else again. We had the red curry salmon. Superb. We had enough for 2 more lunches. Thank you to the guy at Floating Lotus for the recommendation. Thanks, too,... More

Visiting Rockport and Gloucester last week, Passports was recommended to us by some local people. We followed their recommendation. Great find. We visited two days in a row. The popovers are worth the visit. Warm and fresh and served upon being seated. We were all happy with our lunch- trying the different tastes. Cobb Salad, a Caesar salad with fried... More

Just their popovers alone are to die for. Been to so many restaurants that pride themselves on their meal-starting popovers. More often than not, they look much better than they taste. Passport's are simply the best I've ever had. And everything else we ordered was of equal or close-to-it quality. Our waitress has a very "distinct" personality . . .... More

Food was good but nothing to rave about. I had a cobb salad, my husband had Chicken piccata with pasta. Service was so/so. Popovers are tasty. We had a crab cake appetizer that had a lot of bread in it but was still tasty.

When you sit down, yummy hot popovers are delivered to your table. Good local beers on tap, plus local seafood made this a wonderful meal. The fish soup was amazing and filled with big chunks of fish, mussels and shrimp along with a piece of crusty bread to soak up some of the delicious broth. The mussels and mushroom torte... More

We usually have good results with Trip Advisor but today's adventure was a little disappointing. We stopped at Passports for a late lunch and the place was completely empty. It is fairly small but not cramped and the decor is cozy. The loud music being played by the youthful staff definitely took away from the atmosphere (I think I heard... More
