My husband and I were driving through Dennis and came upon the Scargo Cafe, it looked like a nice place so we tried it. We each ordered an appetizer which was delicious as well as cocktails which were also very good. The bartender was very...More

We visited Scargo to have a fancier dinner than the usual fried fare. We could not get a reservation, but we're assured walk-ins were welcome. Before our glass of very tasty Pinot Gris was finished we were at our table. Service was friendly and attentive...More

Our first visit to this restaurant on Rt. 6A in Denis. Won't be the last. Everything was delicious. I had the Seafood Strudel, one of the best meals I've ever had. Great selection of wines and beer. Great service, and they don't rush you.

Had a great meal (until the very end) at Scargo Café last night, a Tuesday in mid-June 2017. Got there later than usual for me and had to park in the upper portion of their third parking lot. Other cars there were parked helter-skelter in...More

Service was friendly and efficient and was the highlight of the meal. The Lobster Risotto had a good amount of dry lobster sitting on a mound of uninspired risotto. The Salmon was soft and mushy on top of a similarly blend risotto. The highly touted...More

We recently visited the Scargo Cafe and it was by far, the best meal we had while on Cape Cod. The service was great, the food was delicious and the restaurant itself was absolutely immaculate. This place is a Do Not Miss.

Do your self a favor and enjoy a meal here. There were 7 of us (Red Hats) and all of us found our meals flavorful and excellent. The presentation was beautiful. We definitely will be back.

They hold back exactly half of their seating for walk-ins so reservations comprise the other half. They fill fast "in-season and on weekends. Peak seating times are often gone 48 hours ahead in summer. Plan ahead or drop... More

A traditional, Tavern and Restaurant with wood paneled walls, open fireplaces and an outdoor covered deck for al Fresco dining during summer. The fare includes guest favorites such as roasted rack of New Zealand lamb, and seafood strudel (a seafood blend baked in pastry) with Newburg sauce. Lots of fresh local seafood and oysters. Many more seafood entrees, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, chicken, pasta selections, and their truly famous version of Grapenut Custard.
