I love Atomic's coffee and stop there regularly for a take out cup. The new space is nice, but louder and less intimate than their original digs across the street.

Why wouldn't someone want to support a local coffee roaster. Well… The cliché is that Starbucks burns their coffee. Atomic goes beyond that to provide a brew that to me is undrinkable. It lacks the finesse and grace a local roast should provide. There are seldom single origins available, yet thing 'Rocketeer' and 'Diesel' blend, and you get the picture.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast here. I got a smoothie and a delicious bagel with cream cheese, tomato, cucumber and sprouts! Very cool atmosphere.

We stopped in here on a visit home to family because the coffee shops in our area have been selling their roasted beans and we were impressed with the high quality. Unfortunately, the barista skill wasn't what I expected. That being said, it blows any other coffee shops I've been to in the area out of the water. The food... More

As I said: a little overhyped, but worth a visit. The new bookstore attached really adds a lot and is a great place to visit while you're waiting for your meal. Not the best place to study or get work down, as the music and other diners tend to get loud.

Always good, expanded from across the street to new and larger space. More uniform and customer friendly meeting most reasons for beverages, computer access, meetings with friends for all purposes A 10 tating. It dies a good job for what they do. A mote relaxed and active Starbucks type. Much noisier.

Visiting daughter from Scotland. This is their go to local cafe. Good sandwich and reasonable selection of baked goods but place this size back home would maybe have more varied selection. Very busy but lot of people seems to be installed long term with their laptops. Went back next day for coffee and donut which was good.

Best real coffee on the North Shore! Every cup takes several minutes because they are making it just for you. Very friendly staff.

The Beverly outpost of Atomic Cafe has the same great coffee and eclectic other stuff as the Marblehead branch (where I go more often) .. this sure beats Starbucks
