The Cream Chipped Beef is Wonderful, and you get a BIG portion! The Coffee tastes like Peanut Shells; I wish they would shop around for something better. Service is just

I had a Real Craving for a Chipped Beef breakfast, which was as good as my Mother used to make; the Portion size was obscene.

The staff was very friendly, and actually so were most of the customers. Food was very well done. Karaoke gets a bit busy so if you like to sing (like me) then it might not like it. They get from 15 to 30 singers on Friday and Saturday, but the KJs do a great job.

I always wanted to go to a bar where "everyone knows your name." This a time capsule to 50 or more years ago. The waitress calls you "hun." All the patrons know each other. The waitress even remembered when I visited 5-7 years ago. The food is freshly made and delicious. If you ever want to visit a place that... More

This was recommended by our hotel clerk. Food and service was great. Was filled mostly with locals who were very friendly and gave suggestions on what to choose from the menu. It was karaoke night and felt right at ease singing with the regulars.

The Chipped Beef is Especially Good and they make you feel quite at home Immediately. I snagged my sweater on the Raggedy Counter which needs to be refinished.

Housed in an old white house, its almost like eating at your folks. The place is a little run down but the food is good and portions are Ample. Some nights have Country Music or Karaoke. A local Staple.

Not the prettiest place and it has a big bar, but it was really comfortable and friendly. The salads were like what I make--very fresh with a just-made taste. The main courses were good--I loved my lasagna! The Greek spanakopeta was a bit dried out, so we would have to check if we ordered it again. All in all, I... More
