This is the place to go to get the urban coffee shop vibe without actually having to go into the city. Great coffee and coffee drink, good dessert selection and uber coffee shop vibe.

Ellicott City is a neat little town filled with great restaurants and interesting shops. At the end of your time, if the weather is good and you are lucky enough, grab one of the seats/tables outside (very FEW)enjoy your snack/drinks people watching along main street. I find it especially nice in the early evening. Bean Hallow is THE flavor of... More

Popped in last week to meet a friend for coffee. I had been there, although my friends goes weekly. The coffee is good, but the tiramisu was the star for me. It is usually a boring dessert and poorly done. Bean Hollow's tiramisu was terrific. It had a variety of layers and the lady fingers did NOT predominate. Instead the... More

We popped in to this coffee shop in the late afternoon for sandwiches (yes...sandwiches, not a coffee or latte or etc.). The Bean Hollow offers a nice, unique variety of fresh sandwiches & wraps. All ingredients were fresh and the portions/sizes were decent. I wouldn't necessarily say that the sandwiches were amazing or exemplary, though...they were just good. Seating is... More

The cappuccino was delicious and I REALLY like that I can get it in a ceramic mug! The line was quite long so be prepared for a wait.

Such character! Such ambiance! I stopped in this morning as they were roasting their beans and the place was filled with the rich smell of roasting coffee. The historic building with its high ceilings and wood floors has a vibe that can't be recreated. The tables were filled on a weekday at 10am because this is the go-to spot for... More

It was too late for a caffeine kick, so I stuck with food. The black bean wrap was tasty and fresh, and the Zanzibar chocolate torte was delicious. What a neat little place tucked into a charming town.

We dropped in here for an afternoon tea after visiting the famous station and walking the streets. They serve a good variety of teas and coffees at reasonable prices. If you have a sweet tooth the are also tempting cakes.
