We stopped for lunch on our motorcycle. Enjoyed eating on the deck and seeing boats and water. Missy our waitress was terrific. Friendly and great service. The food was yummy and generous. Look forward to returning.

The Fish Whistle is the only riverfront restaurant in Chestertown. It offers fresh seafood and meats and wonderful service.

We stopped by the Fishwhistle in Chestertown for their weekday happy hour. High tide that evening was slated for 8:30pm. As we sat in the bar/lounge we noticed how quickly the tide was coming in along the marina walkways. We decided to leave around 5:15pm and one of the staff mentioned to me that another staff member was getting a... More

The Fish Whistle is the only Chestertown restaurant that is on the river. Every table in the dining room has a nice view. We were here for lunch on a shiny Friday. We both had the special pea soup with ham... like I like it smooth and just thick enough to make it pea soup. :-) My wife went with... More

We watched college football in here on a rainy Saturday. They have a few tvs in the bar area. The view is wonderful. We had wings, oyster stew, and fish tacos. The wings and oyster stew were both good. The fish tacos were just okay. There was a lot of fish on them and it was more like a burrito... More

Horrible food horrible service filthy bathroom filthy table. I think that about sums it up. Hostess was more worried about taking an application from a prospective employee than seating us. Beverages remained empty for the duration of dinner. Table was so filthy it was sticky. Bathroom reeked of urine

Had dinner at the fish whistle on the deck. Read a lot of reviews before we went that were not good.. It is true the place has seen some use but I think that's a good thing. The staff was very nice and helpful and attentive to our needs. The food was very good and the view great. Desert was... More

This is a nice waterfront restaurant, with a beautiful view near the mouth of the Chester River. We had a crabcake, which was small and lacking in lumps, and a sandwich. The food was just ok to good.

Great food. Best place to eat on a nice day is out on the deck. Watching the boats and the water and having a good meal is one of the best things to do in Chestertown. It feels like home when we visit. Love everything about it.
