Love going here. Family and I went here tonight and sat in the inside portion of the deck. All 4 of us started with sushi. My wife had the Chesapeake Roll (crabmeat, avocado, old bay, mayo, scallions), my sons the Philly and California Rolls and...More

This was our first visit to the restaurant. The food was very good but the service was mediocre and detracted from the experienced. May go back if we are in this area again because of the food.

We have eaten here several times over the last few years. Enjoy getting a drink or two having a meal and watching the boat traffic on the canal. The food is excellent. I am very fond of the chesapeake pizza

Had a delicious lobster sandwich and great local corn on the cob. The view is fantastic, fun watching boats come and go. Wife wasn't totally thrilled but I rated 5 stars anyway.

My family eats at Chesapeake Inn several times a year, most usually in the dining room as we typically go with extended family members or to celebrate a special occasion. Being able to have a lovely quiet dinner inside and watch the marina is relaxing...More

So we went for dinner with another couple. Waitress was slow to get and/or refill drinks but tolerable. Real problems started when we placed our order. After an hour we started to get annoyed, we got a free round of drinks for our wait and...More

I've been here before and the food is always good. Let's explain the two restaurants. First, if you want to sit outside on the deck overlooking the marina, enter to the left of the restaurant between the palm trees. Very casual beach feel because you're...More

Yes this was the site of the Dockside restaurant from the 80s and early 90s. The Chesapeake Inn opened in 1996.

My wife and son want to take me there for Father's Day 2015 but we are undecided and have questions. Will we be able to make reservations today 6/17 for 3 or 4 or are we too late? Our first choice was the brunch and to sit outside but we would consider later and inside dining if we get the right vibe.

Thank you Cheryl, we have decided on "The Granary" - I will post a review - although the weather report is not great for Sunday, we have reservations in the dining room by a window. We will enjoy the scenery rain or shine.
