Have stopped before when visiting family. Today we dropped in for lunch after some shopping. Two of us had haddock chowder and half a chicken salad sandwich. The bread choices next to the soups were plentiful. I had the pesto haddock on a whole wheat roll. So nice having the option of whole wheat. I'm hoping my email requesting the... More

Stopped for dinner here after a recommendation. Casual interior with lots of window views of the river. Happened to be there for a sunset and the leaves on the mts. were "on fire!" Beautiful. Pleasant service. Smaller entree portions than I would have liked, but prices were reasonable.(Not looking for a trough either) Nothing too outstanding in our orders. (3... More

We have stopped in here for lunch several times, and we have never been disappointed. The restaurant is located right on the highway next to the river. It is a very unpretentious place, but apparently loved by the locals. We stopped for a light lunch of a salad and sandwich. Their menu is pretty big, so I'm not sure what... More

Very Good Food, Nice View & Friendly Staff a winner in my book! I enjoyed the soup on a rainy day especially the haddock chowder, the desserts looked so good but I didn't try any.

We stopped there at 2 PM on a rainy Saturday afternoon, during leaf peeper season. The restaurant was filled but not crowded, service was attentive. We both had haddock chowder (with lots of potatoes) and lobster rolls. The soup was good; the lobster rolls were super-excellent!! The rolls were lightly toasted; the lobster plentiful and not over-dressed--better than Reds across... More

The soups are so good, hearty and tasty. We were staying across the bridge so we went there to eat several times. The service was good and the waitresses are so nice. We didn't feel rushed like we usually do at home in NJ. Steak sub was better than any Philly steak sandwich I've ever had. We are leaving soon... More

Quaint restaurant on the main street through town just before you go over the bay bridge. I had the lobster grilled cheese and enjoyed it very much. I believe they said the bread is locally made. The portion is huge so its very filling. The rest of the group enjoyed their dishes as well.

We stopped here on a rainy Sunday for a late lunch. It was our second time and again we were not disappointed. The menu is extensive and making it difficult to choose. The soup and bread bar was an inviting option, but the lobster roll and the crab cake sandwich were excellent. The wait for our food was a bit... More

Sarah's Cafe had exactly what we wanted when we came here for a late summer lunch. Not only was there lobster, but Sarah's offers lobster out of the shell on a full mixed salad. Service was courteous, prompt, and efficient. We had a table with a view and enjoyed our leisurely lunch.

My wife and I stopped for lunch while heading north. From appearances, we didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. I had a half chicken salad sandwich and soup. The sandwich and the bun were quite good. The chicken salad tasted homemade. The restaurant has a soup bar where you help yourself. I had the chowder which was good,... More
