While wandering after antique shopping, we ended up at the Dresden, Maine diner (that is it's sister restaurant and the bread is baked at this Wiscasset one). It was home-cooked and terrific. Bread, dessert, pies. All homemade. The place made me feel like I had...More

I found this restaurant by asking a competitor for a restaurant that served items that were not fried. They recommended Ship's Chow House right down the street and warned not to judge the place by the building. They were right in both instances. You'd never...More

We stopp at Ship's for breakfast everytime we are in the area. The service is the best. The people working there have been there as long as we have been going there. The fresh fruit crepe is the best.

This place is the real deal. It's a rough-looking diner on the side of the road next to the Concord Busline stop at the former Huber's (will it open up again? Will the bus stop move??) and the inside is just as charming as can...More
