We went to dinner there on a Saturday night and when we arrived for our reservation we were told by the people at the reception area that we couldn't possibly have a reservation as they didn't accept them at the time we were scheduled for, all of this was said without either of the women even making eye contact with... Joshua's has long enjoyed a reputation for outstanding dining, and with each successive visit, it reinforces this accolade. The food is absolutely outstanding! They have recently completed an addition to the restaurant which should be open soon. On our most recent visit we started the evening with a bloody orange martini, and a glass of prosecco. Following a bread basket... More

Not many of the better restaurants in this area are open in winter and especially on Monday. This was our first time at Joshua's; it won' t our last. The meal was well paced and very tasty. Heather did a great job. We liked the crab cakes to start. Wife had rack of lamb & I had the filet. Both... More

We arrived for our 7 pm Saturday reservation. We were a party of 4. We have eaten there several times in the last few years and were excited that they had reopened after the renovations. We were asked why we were there when we arrived. We announced that we had reservations for 7 pm. We were informed several times that... More

Joshua's is a classy, beautifully staffed and run eatery. We started with a "special New Years Eve" cocktail, a delicious meal, a sumptuous bottle of wine, then desert in a warm and well appointed dining room. The waitresses are knowledgeable and accomodating which adds to the overall effect! Just a wonderful meal and time well spent.

We stopped by for drinks last night. The dining room was full, but there were seats in the bar. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was cheerful and cozy. We had a really nice time. The menu looked delicious, but we'd already eaten. Next time we will come for dinner!

Friday night and no reservation but they found a comfortable table for me. Server was super bright and anticipatory. Menu is extensive with lots of tasty treats on offer. Enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup (really a puree), a deliciously dressed salad, haddock with roasted vegetables on a bed of brown and wild rice (scrumptious) and enjoyed coffee and homemade...
