Driving home from Maine, we passed Tubby's and stopped, hoping for one last lobster fix before hitting New Hampshire. Lucky us! These rolls are perfect: served on a lightly toasted and buttered roll just chock-full of lobster meat. I mean brimming with lobster meat - and just a brush of mayo. Perfect lobsta heaven. The smaller size was plenty and... More

Visited here with a group of fellow antique auto enthusiasts. Had a lobster roll followed by a dish of vanilla ice cream. The lobster was was good, but a bit expensive. The ice cream was very good. Very friendly servers.

Stopped by for dinner and had a foot long hot dog while my wife had the lobster roll. Both were excellent but the best part was the pumpkin cheesecake ice cream. Best ever!

Lobster rolls are available in regular (1 1/4 pound lobster) and large (2 pound lobster) for 19.50 and 24.75 respectively. Served with mayonnaise on a grilled buttered roll, these are the genuine article. Fresh lobster succulence makes these sandwiches worth a trip. This is an outdoor experience with picnic tables available behind the service window area. Also on offer is... More

Tubby's is one of Maine ' s best ice cream stands, which happens to serve a fabulous lobster roll. The lobster is fresh and generous, served on a buttery roll. The lemon cake batter ice cream is great and the maple walnut is terrific made with real maple syrup. Tubby's is a must stop in summer. You can sit on... More

I was in Wayne for 4 days and went there 3 times. They have a limited menu that includes hot dogs, hamburgers, and Lobster Roll. The ice cream was my favorite. The staff working was very polite and courteous and remembered my wife and I after the first day. Stop in and you won't be disappointed.

Where else can you find the local small town home-made ice cream parlor that serves lobster rolls? Tubby's may take awhile to work your way up through the line on a busy day, but most people agree the ice-cream is worth the wait. Varieties take on the names of local Camps and you often find visitors with license plates from... More

Highly recommend the peanut butter. Glad we didn't stop five miles earlier for Hershey ice cream! One kid dropped his cone and they replaced it before I even had a chance to ask.

Really enjoy Tubby's lobster rolls. Have never had one here that I didn't enjoy. The regular sized lobster roll isn't overwhelming in terms of the amount of actual lobster but it's adequate. The ice cream is quite good but the portions are really small for what you pay. There are better values for ice cream not far from Tubby's. Still,... More

Thank you for visiting Tubby's. I'm glad you enjoyed your lobster roll. I would like to mention a few things about how we make our ice cream. Most other shops make ice cream using mixes, and artificial flavorings. We use fresh cream, cane sugar, real fruit and other natural ingredients. We cant' offer our ice cream in the same quantities... More
