I really shouldn't need to say anything more than pot roast hash for breakfast, especially since it was as yummy as it sounds. Makes me want to go some evening and have their pot roast. My over easy eggs were perfect and home made wheat toast too. One tip: bring cash. They don't accept plastic but there is an ATM... More

The food did not have a lot of flavor. My blueberry pancakes were just OK. The pancake batter had no flavor and needed quite a bit of syrup. Only ate half of one. My wife had the eggs, cinnamon/raisin toast and home fries. The toast seemed a bit stale according to my wife and the home fries were basically small... More

Recently checked out Kopper Kettle in Topsham for breakfast. It has a nice diner atmosphere and pricing is fair and affordable. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Florentine Omelette and my friend had bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns. Food was served promptly and hot and everything was delicious. Great coffee too! I highly recommend the Kopper... More

We've been coming here for breakfast every Sunday for years. It's an amazing locals place, but we see lots of visitors too. This place has been through a lot of changes, and the recent ones are completely for the better. The new owner has worked here for a long time and knows how to make it run great. She just... More

Our group of seven stopped by for a weekday mid-morning breakfast. We expected to wait for a table (we did) but also had to wait to even be acknowledged that we were interested in being seated. Throughout our stay the waitress was friendly but distracted taking significant time to get waters, coffee, menus, etc. Kitchen was very backed up, out... More

The waitresses are friendly... We ordered "The Kettle" which was 2 eggs, meat of your choice, home fries or hash browns and toast! It was very good! I must say they have the best toast I've ever had... I believe they use homemade breads.

We found this place when our GPS recommended it while we were driving from Portland to Bar Harbor. Since it's not far off of the highway we pulled over and were completely delighted by what we found. Really excellent, hearty portions of awesome diner food. It was a great kickoff to our vacation! This place is small and seems like... More

Had great hopes for this little restaurant, which has obviously been around for a long time, but it failed to impress. Stopped for a late breakfast. Service was really marginal, which was a shame because that might have made all the difference. To be fair, there was a table there with lots of children and the parents were allowing them... More

I was here with my bagpipe band from London and we had been recommended by a friend from Brunswick, ME So we tried it. Upon arrival, it already looked busy and the waitress quickly sorted a table for all 11 of us! We found out that she was on her own, but she did a fantastic job! In spite of... More

We had breakfast with our Mainer friends this morning. A neat little spot frequented by locals. Our breakfasts were good. Spouse ordered the Philly steak skillet which is a combination of chunks of steak, green peppers and onions fried up in scrambled eggs covered with melted shredded cheese. It was served with hash browns and a grilled English muffin. Spouse... More
