We had not been there in a long time, and remembered it being very good. I do not understand the 5 star review- I had the haddock tacos.- the flour taco was the WORST I have ever had- Came out of a package in the...More

I can honestly say that this is probably my favorite restaurant in Rockland. Such an incredible variety of foods that I never get tired of it! Things are tasty and done just right with an awesome flare!

We loved this restaurant! It is small, so reservations are recommended. The menu is large with several different types of cuisine. We were told that servings are large and most bring a 'doggy bag' home. We had to try their pierogis with brisket...fabulous! A few...More

We braved the cold windy evening to be warmly welcomed into this small toasty restaurant. Obviously a favorite of locals by the other tables around us engaged in conversation by the staff. We were not made to feel like outsiders as we were warmly greeted...More

After a short wait for a table on a freezing December Saturday, we we seated in this unusual and funky cafe. We had the Dan-Dan soup and an immense brisket sandwich. Both were flavorful and filling. Service was good. Check out the restrooms- one is...More

Whenever I go into an eatery with 5 pages of menu listing everything from general Tso’s Chicken to Kosher Hot Dogs I am skeptical. You cannot be good at everything. I would give this place the highest ratings for their signature foods. The chef here...More

We came here our first night in the area. It's a small place, and we didn't have a reservation, but because it was Sunday and off season we were able to get a table.(Note: get a reservation under other conditions.) The food is high moderate...More

A small, unpretentious restaurant where the food is delicious and the service is friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommend you visit. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped in on a recommendation and glad I did. It's very small and popular so make reservations. I sat at the bar looking into the open kitchen. Being small, the service was right there and the food? Utterly amazing. One of the best dishes...More

NO, there is not a fireplace inside, but outside during cool evenings they have a gas fireplace. We were there recently and the outside was closed.

Kerry, the owner, is from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. Shenandoah is often called the Polish Poconos and is the home of "Mrs. T's" pierogies and a yearly "kielbasa" fest. I'm certain you can get Pierogies, if you call ahead!
