This has been in business for years and the locals and tourists both love it. It is a hot place but has many varieties and sides. You will not be disappointed and a great casual family place and is VERY reasonably priced.

What you see is what you get--excellent hot dogs served in the out of doors, as they have been for a very long time. Don't miss it.

We have been eating here for about 18 years or more and have introduced several others to this great little hot dog stand. The food is good, the people friendly, the service excellent so there you have it from us. We love to go there on Christmas Eve afternoon, it is fun to see the people in line at that... More

We have eaten here SO many times over the years and just LOVE their hot dogs! They are always delicious! We usually order the dogs with the fried onions on top? The chili dogs are great too! The French fries are so light and not a bit greasy. Whenever we are in Rockland, we try to make a trip to... More

I have visited many times, most recently two weeks ago. The hot dogs are the best in the State. I have tried Flo's in Southern Maine and they don't even come close to the quality of Wasses. Bea and her co-workers do a great job there. Will visit again, I enjoy the with everything including ketchup. Prices are reasonable.

I ordered a kraut dog and it was the best hot dog I have ever eaten. Their French fries are very good also. I had a hot dog, fries and a drink for a little over $6.00. There are no tables, but benches where you can sit and eat. That was the only negative!

Tastes great but too expensive and they use peanut oil. Pleasant service and clean, recently added ice cream to the menu

This one rankss right up there with Nathan's, Hirim's (Ft. Lee, NJ), Rutt's Hut (Clifton, NJ) albeit their preparation is different. This is my second time here and it is wonderful...again. It is a natural casing (essential to ever being considered a great hot dog) that is cooked on a flat griddle in peanut oil. Along with it you get... More

We made a quick lunch stop and really enjoyed Wasses. The line was long but moved quickly. Hotdogs were $2.50 and tasted great. We ate at a picnic table in the back. The two lady workers were very nice too.

Hands full the best hot dogs anywhere. The dogs are fried in peanut oil so those with nut allergies are out of luck. Keith Wass took over from an old time vendor who had a an old cart on a side street in Rockland and he hasn't looked back.
