Truly a hidden gem in a city of great restaurants. the menu and wine list are eclectic and well planned. Krista has taken a small, really tiny kitchen and works it like magic. The servers are like family, yet very professional.

Had a good reputation, but phone is out of service and they are no longer in this location.....or anywhere near that I can easily find..... No new phone number....website list some place in Garland, Maine (where is that exactly?) Perhaps if you go out of...More
I have been to Bresca for both lunch and dinner. Absolutely everything I have had - drinks, appetizers, sandwich, steak, desserts - have been superb. It is a tiny restaurant with a small menu, but I would recommend it to anyone who is going to...More
or you won't get a table for lunch. It's a fabulous jewel of a restaurant. The sunchoke soup was so good I would have dived in if the bowl had been a bit bigger: it's right up there with their fabled shaved Brussels sprout salad....More

Otherwise I'll never get in. OK, the secret is out. Anyone with a brain - sorry, stomach - knows that Bresca is one of the (deservedly) top restaurants in a town full of fabulous eating. And now that they're open for lunch - Wednesday, Thursday,...More
Knowing that Bresca served one of the most memorable meals in my life, I was hesitant to eat lunch there. Why run the risk of diminishing the memory for a luncheon meal? I have to admit that I was concerned on reading the menu when...More
This restaurant just started serving lunch several days a week and is a real must to visit if you like tasty food. The deserts are wonderful. The prices are moderate for such delicious fare. It is some place to go for a delicious leisurely meal.
A sweet restaurant that has a small menu with fresh big tastes. A great place to have a business lunch or to meet a friend and enjoy a long and leisurely meal.
We stumbled on this restaurant which feels like a Parision Bistro. Best food in Portland says a longtime Portlandite. I was on my way to Duck Fat, but very happy to discover this jewel.
