I went to have dinner with my husband to Mi Sen. We have a complicated diet that is hard to accommodate but at this restaurant the waitress made us feel like they had lots of costumers with the same restrictions! The good was delicious and the service fantastic.

I ordered the wide rice noodles take out. Much to my chagrin, when I opened the box, all I found were skinny noodles with not much more than fish sauce. Not worth the $9 I paid. Go to the Green Elephant next door. Way more food, nutrition, and flavor for your buck.

Mi Sen is a welcome addition to Portland. The food is good, and the service is excellent. Although the menu items are somewhat pricey, the portions are ample. I would definitely recommend Mi Sen if you're in the mood for Thai food that's authentically spicy and not the typically bland food you find in Maine.

Wanted to try Thai food so l used Trip Advisor and chose Mi Sen. I have nothing to compare against so I can't say if the food was the same or better than any other Thai place. However, I can say that I thought the food was delicious! I would come here again and again. Fast service, reasonable prices. Parking... More

A dear friend spontaneously called me up, and we arranged a visit to my abode here, and of course her visit had to include lunch someplace. She wanted Asian, Chinese in particular, but one place I like I'd been to recently and didn't care to go now, and the other one downtown was closed. Asian restaurants are crazy-bursting at the... Ate here on a local bartender's recommendation. It was a cold and windy day so we wanted some noodles/soup. I ordered the Red Curry Noodles - very good. My wife ordered the Num Daeng on the server's recommendation: it was even better. We both ordered the wantons as our "protein" and weren't disappointed. This will be a staple lunch next... More

We came here for lunch when we found that our first choice noodle place had a 30 minute wait. Mi Sen will now be a first choice for us, since we had first rate meals, with excellent service, in a very pleasant setting. Each of our noodle dishes was well flavored, with noodles that were cooked to perfection. At lunch... More

Initially, we planned to have dinner at a different Thai restaurant, but it wasn't open. As we were on our way to a concert at the State Theatre, we needed to find a place nearby to eat right away. Luckily, Mi Sen Noodle Bar was open so that we could fill our craving for Thai food. We started with Tom... More

Been wanting some Thai food so we came up to town. Drove around the block several times and finally walked about 5 blocks. Very beautiful restaurant, nice seating and very attentive staff. Food was fresh and very good. Loved how each meal explained the type of noodles, very helpful.
