Awesome food in a cozy atmosphere. Came in on a rainy weekday for lunch. My wife and I really enjoyed our soup, salad, and sandwiches.

This little place is my absolute favorite place for brunch. The benedicts are incredible and the hash is perfect. The coffee is also the best in town and perfect with the home made cinnamon rolls. The staff is also friendly and casual. I can not recommend this place enough! Some day I'll get myself in for dinner!

My husband and I set out walking from our hotel looking for a Thai restaurant which we could not find. We kept walking and stumbled on this charming cafe. We were really impressed with the variety on the menu, the wine selection and the impeccable service. We did not have reservations but they did have one table vacant and we... More

This was a surprise. Just up the hill from the Old Port, I've had wonderful lunches at Artemisia, but never dinner. Both of our meals were outstanding. We shared a colorful and flavorful beet salad, then I had a perfectly cooked hanger steak with dollops of blue cheese and fingerling potatoes while my partner had a winter tart and fried... More

This quaint little Cafe offers a colorful brunch on weekends. The wait, however, is unusually long and the booths are very tight. The service, while friendly, did not stand out compared to similar establishments. At the end, when I ordered the check, I only received the credit card statement with the total amount shown, which seemed unusually high. After I... More

Our various benedicts were delish ($10). Good Bloody Marys ($7). Price is very right. We will go back.

It was interesting to hear that this local feel good restaurant has been around for 17 years as a breakfast and lunch destination, and for the past 4 years dinner is also served and prepared by a different chef than at breakfast/lunch. The Kitchen was just renovated top bottom. Shortly after being seated we received on the house crudités: toast... More

I stumbled across Artemisia Cafe and was wonderfully surprised. It is unique as the group handling dinner is different from the group preparing breakfast, brunch and lunch. I found the dinner on par with any restaurant in Portland and the staff is attentive. It has a genuine bistro feel as shown through its focused menu and interesting yet small wine... More

We came here off of a recommendation and it was worth it! We had a group of 7 so it took them 15 minutes to clean off an empty table to seat us, but not too bad to wait. They offer great brunch drinks and a decent menu, somewhat limited but a good selection. They were willing to make adjustments... More

The reviews are true! One of a kind place! Absolutely loved the homey down to earth feeling this restaurant gave me. I had the kiebalsa hash, and my husband had the frittata. Very delicious and perfect portion size. Definetly would recommend, and will be returning!
