We had a little bit later lunch (1:30 on a weekday) and had a 20-30 minute wait. We ate: oyster shooters, raw oysters, lobster roll and raw Maine yellowfin. Service was EXCELLENT. Food was EXCELLENT. It is NOT CHEAP, so you have to be committed...More

We arrived on Friday as they were opening. We were seated at the bar. The waitress explained how everything works. Food is served as it is ready. They are small plates, and plan for 2 items per person. We started w/ 1/2 doz of oysters....More

The first lobster roll we have ever had was here and after having more than I want to mention the rest of the trip, I can safely say Eventide had THE best. The clam chowder was awesome as well. We would go back in a...More

Eventide has a good variety of local oysters. We chose 2 regions to get 1/2 doz each from and had to order the same again. The raw tuna was probably the best I've ever had including sushi restaurants . A must when in Portland!

The waitress promised and delivered the most delicious, warm, brown butter lobster roll on homemade bread. Worth the wait!

Eventide was busy with line out the door and great reviews. However, the portions were small with the server saying you had to order two items for a meal. The food were classics such as a lobster roll with a yuppie twist to them. Lunch...More

Two of us were there on a Monday evening, about 6:30 pm. After reading reviews, we expected a wait. Restaurant is small with no place to "wait" other than outside. We were informed by the hostess of the long wait time, or we were offered...More

There is outside seating but I did not notice any dogs. The outside seating is on the city sidewalk.

There is outside seating. But I didn’t notice any dogs or water bowls. But I may have missed them. Overall, Portland is super friendly to dogs. I’d be surprised if they didn’t accommodate them.
