I had read many good things about this restaurant and was anxious to try myself. I was very disappointed. The Korean ribs served at happy hour seemed day-old and reheated. The pickled watermelon rind that came with the ribs was very tasty. My cocktail, half...More

Southern kitchen comfort food is definitely NOT my kind of food. But holy Hanna, you have got to try this place! I went with my family so we were able to order a ton of different dishes. One dish was just ok. But only because...More

The place is very small. The food is ok. Pretty expensive for what you get. Clean bathrooms. Typical breakfast food. They have Outdoor seating. Friendly staff.

We found this little gem walking through the neighborhood from our AirBnb location. It was busy but we managed to get a table after a short wait. The menu was varied with specials, sandwiches, and salads. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the service...More

The bloody mary's were fabulously spicy! I enjoyed the chorizo hash and my husband had the sweet potato biscuit breakfast sandwich. The selections were all unique. If we were in Portland longer, we would've dined here again.

The Mr and I were staying nearby and decided to hit up Hot Suppa for their happy hour. We ordered the deviled eggs and the $1 oysters. The oysters were medium sized and had good flavor. The eggs, particularly the sriracha deviled egg was my...More

We came for an early dinner one night and I really liked this restaurant. The inside was decorated nicely with pretty paintings. We also had great service while we were here. The food was very good and the oyster happy hour is a huge bonus!

Hot Suppa is on our short list of "go to" places in Portland, Maine. This is saying a lot, as Portland is a food town, with so many wonderful restaurants. Accolades for all that we enjoyed last night -- oysters, spare ribs, beet salad, and...More

The staff was super friendly (not overly) and the atmosphere was cozy. Very cute with all the different art hanging around the room. Brightly lit being daytime and I sat in the street window booth. I don't spend money out for breakfast...I can make it...More

Parking is a challenge. There is no lot for the restaurant. Depending on what time I day we go for dinner, we often have found a spot out front, or may park on a side street. The restaurant is worth it, so we would even park... More

Description
The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
