We came to Hot Suppa excited to experience all that the reviews offered -- the hostess, bartender and food were all impressive. We asked about vegan dishes as we had a vegan amongst us so we were excited to be told there was one on...More

Honestly one of the greatest restaurants around Portland. The atmosphere, the servers, and the food..all outstanding. Obviously from the title, the chicken and waffles are a go to meal of choice for dinner. Classic southern cooking. Fried chicken and a waffle. Doesn't get any better....More

I'm not sure how many times I've reviewed Hot Suppa, but I'm sure every time I've been has been a 5-star experience. I travel to Portland often on business (minimum once a month) and take my dining out pretty serious. Hot Suppa has become the...More

I honestly don't know what else to say other than this was the greatest breakfast I have ever eaten in my entire life. I was a little nervous when they told me the wait would be 45 minutes, but we stuck it out and I'm...More

I had breakfast here twice and dinner once; that says a lot in the highly competitive food scene that has exploded in Portland, and although part of me still had a bit of fomo to not try more places, after my first breakfast at Hot...More

I like to treat myself with breakfast at Hot Suppa. They offer some interesting and delicious specials. My most recent breakfast was the benedict special -- jalapeno grits patties, bacon, poached eggs, and baby kale. It was delicious. I love that you can get grits...More

My wife and I ate dinner here on Friday night and were delighted. My wife loved her dinner and dessert. I loved the Nashville Chicken and Chocolate Bread Pudding. The macaroni and cheese was good, but not great though. Our waitress was fantastic and there...More

Stopped here for breakfast...loved the space , the service and the food. Had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon...eggs cooked perfectly and the salmon was so fresh. The grits that went with were the best...cheesy with cheddar. Will go again ..best meal while in Portland

Parking is a challenge. There is no lot for the restaurant. Depending on what time I day we go for dinner, we often have found a spot out front, or may park on a side street. The restaurant is worth it, so we would even park... More

Description
The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
