Our first time in Ogunquit and we had no idea where to eat. We walked by Rose Cove and while reading menu, trying to decide if we wanted to go in, one of the seated patrons on the patio told us the food was great and we should try it. Upon her urging, we walked through the door and decided... More

We were taking a causal trip up the Maine coast and went through Ogunquit. We were hungry so as we were driving through we spotted the Rose Cove Café. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed a great hamburger. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and the food was very good. I highly recommend for casual dining.

What an unfortunate first time at this lovely outdoor dining. When sitting to order our drinks we realized that the evening was chillier than expected. So we kindly asked to be placed near one of those nice fire pits as soon as one would be free to our waiter. In the meantime we ordered our meal. Unexpecting that the owner?manager?had... More

We asked a local where to eat. We did not want to hit one of the typical tourist spots. There it was, right on the corner on Route 1. Colorful exterior with fire pit tables, all lit up. It was hot so we sat inside to cool down. The menu surprised us, since we just assumed it would be plain... More

We were actually looking for ice cream or dessert but after seeing this cafe after dark with it's pretty lighting and fire pit tables, we decided to go ahead and have a light dinner and then dessert. Delicious and great atmosphere! Beautiful mandevillas!

Loved everything about this place really. It's got great indoor and outdoor seating, the food is delicious and a great location. I had the baked scallops and they were out of this world good. We would definitely return should we be in the area again.

Visited here for a late lunch. Poor beer selection. Lobster bisque was good, but fish and chips were below par. Hubby's steak and cheese sandwich was average. There were two cheese choices and when he asked for both was told he could not get both. Would not recommend this one.

Slow service. Never had lobster roll before but not impressed. Lobster roll was nothing special-no dressing, sauce or butter. Just bread and lobster. Maybe that is how they are supposed to be. Complimentary fudge at end of meal was nice touch

We wanted a late lunch/early dinner and saw this place while walking and decided to check it out. We opted to sit outside even though it was chilly and damp and were so glad we did. Each table outside had it's own firepit in the center to ward off the chill. Waitress was young, very attentive and pleasant. Food was... More
