This is a lovely restaurant with very nice food. All the courses and the wine we had were excellent. Especially the selection of starters.

First, this one of our family's favorite restaurants in Ogunquit. In our opinion it has the best breakfast in Town. The food is always fresh, delicious and the portions are large. We particularly like the hash and the eggs Benedict. Over the years I think my family has sampled just about everything on the menu and it has never been... More

Stopped in last night for a late dinner at the bar for girls night out. Cute spot and the food was really good. We shared the yummy avocado fries, and I had the fish tacos. Both were good. The bartender was very personable and friendly. Next time I'm in Ogunquit, I will be sure to go back.

We come back to The Roost several times a year and are never disappointed. We love the intimacy of the bar and always chose to sit at a table there. This visit we ordered the chicken liver pate, it was rich, creamy and so decadent, served with toasted bread, little pickles and greens it was a great start to our... More

I make sure to go to the Roost every year. I find that they have the most out-of-the-box menu items, especially when it comes to integrating seafood into their breakfast dishes. The chorizo eggs Benedict (homemade chorizo, corn bread, and chipotle hollandaise with a perfectly poached egg) and the crab cake eggs Benedict (delicious crab cakes full of fresh crab... More

On a whim we decided to try dinner at Roost. Boy are we glad we did! The food was incredible. We ordered the arugula salad, the prosciutto wrapped buratta cheese (WOW), catch of the day (scallops) and the statler chicken. We forced ourselves to eat slowly in order to savor each bite. Our server was very attentive and the owner... More

We were staying at the Grand Hotel a few doors down so decided to try this place for lunch. It has a warm cozy interior and looks to be rather large but only one room was open for lunch. It wasn't crowded, the service was good and we really enjoyed our food. We took our 6 and 4 year old... More

Hi kturner, We are very glad that you enjoyed your lunch at Roost and that our chowder flavors keep lingering in your husbands memory. We have won a few chowder fests in our time, but to know that a customer compares it to others subsequently, a trophy in itself. We do try to come up with variations on traditional items,... More

One morning I went to Roost Cafe with my family and we had egg benedicts. I had mine with lobster and my mothers with crab cakes. The service is fast and friendly. We even went there for dinner the same day! I had the Cuban pork and my mom had the lamb shank. My brother had a rack of ribs.... More

I was shocked to see this place wasn't more busy being its right in oguncuit. Breakfast was amazing! Tasted top notch! Amazing pancakes back and home fries!! Very accommodating to me having celiac. Will definitely go again! A little more pricey than other places but for the area and quality of food well worth it!
