Every Restaurant that I have ever ordered Salmon I have to add Lemon Juice. But here the Salmon had its own delicious and very moist flavors that burst away in your mouth. It had a pear also on top that was marinated or something that...More

We took a chance on the Roost without a reservation for a late morning breakfast. The food and service were excellent and the décor and style of the place was delightful and charming. Highly Recommend!

We loved this place, the cuisine was excellent, well prepared and presented. We tried this restaurant because of referral for gluten-free. FIrst meal was breakfast, it was delicious and my wife was able to enjoy also. Tried several items on the breakfast menu during the...More

Fabulous salmon dinner. Wonderful flavors and very different. And just a lovely ambiance with attentive service. I've also tried their new bakery and the muffin, almond croissant , and blueberry tart were excellent. Best blueberry muffin I've ever had. Best baked goods in Ogunquit.

The food and romantic atmosphere are over the top. Because of my raving about the pistachio encrusted Lamb, Chef Jesus came and joined us. The fried ice cream is a must have also.

I've always loved this restaurant, but our most recent visit for breakfast on a Sunday was a great disappointment. We were seated at a high top in the bar area.... which was part of the problem. Service was VERY slow. I heard our server say...More

Dear Mr. Pinkham: I'm not sure how you can say "all the other reviews," if you take the "poor" and "terrible" reviews equal about 20% of the reviews posted. Another 20% defined it as average. We appreciate getting good food for a good value for our money. It seems that was not apparent for us and others. I may indeed be incorrect on the seating numbers, but July Fourth weekend, one would think that :excess" space would be in demand. I do not wish to get into a pissing match here. I try to be as forthright as possible with my reviews. If a place excels, I will post it as such, even noting minor missteps. But if a place is deserving of poor marks, I will post that too. Yes, it is subjective, but I've eaten in some awesome low and high end places, and I've eaten in some horrible high end and low end places. Please accept my and the other less than wonderful reviews as constructive criticism and use it for the betterment of your establishment. I hope you succeed in that task.
