Clams in batter are not found in many restaurants most use crumbs. We prefer with batter. The service was good and the food was on the mark. Definitely will return.

Entered to a snooty young woman, no greeting, no smile,"how many"? Takes us to a table and struts away in too tight jeans. We stand awkwardly as we wait for the high chair we requested, then wander the restaurant and find our own. Eventually waitress shows up, orders taken, etc. When prime rib arrives it is raw. Not medium as... More
I went here for a business dinner with a co-worker. They have a nice selection of draft beers. I ordered a Jack Abbey Hoponius IPA which was a pleasant surprise. For dinner , I ordered a lunch portion of scallops and shrimp baked with sweet potato fries. The scallops were tender and sweet. The shrimp were on the small size... More
We stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner...based upon great recommdations from several local residents. They suggested we go on between peak meal times as they assured us, the restaurant would be very crowded. We did that and were seated immediately, although by tbe time we left, the restaurant was full. Service was quick and efficient...our server was quite... More
We recently had a family gathering to celebrate my 70th birthday at the ChickadeeRestaurant in Lewiston and the staff and food were excellant and everyone in the party commented on how well things went. Most of the guests said they would definately return there !!!! Michael Cote.
The food is always good. The service is also very good. The lobster rolls are great. Haddock is always good also. It sure isn't fast food and there is a wide variety of food. Something for everyone.
So good we ended up eating there twice in two days. Two kinds of onion rings (both great). Haddock was fresh tasting. Friend loved the tartar sauce. Terrific, fast service.

Eating there was one of the things I looked forward to most as a child and teenager spending my summers at our camp in North Turner. I wanted to introduce my kids to it. We visited the current location in Lewiston. While... More
The seafood was very bland. The fried clam batter was certainly missing something. Never brought the dessert my grand daughter ordered. Waited 1/2 hour for to-go boxes. Then 20 minutes after packing up and putting our coats on we had to go find the waitress and demand the bill. We were there at 2:30 pm and there were as many... More
