Super fun decor with a Elizabethan era twist. The food was superb and will 100% be going back! Great prices!

I can't say enough about how great the sandwiches are at this quaint little spot. I stopped in today with my husband for a late lunch. There were a handful of people standing inside the door studying the large menu on the wall. I quickly decided that I wanted the Beefeater so stepped up to order. By the time I... More

a staple now in a crowed market just above the outlets. Very friendly service and high qualaty sandwiches make this a must stop when visiting Kittery!

We have been going to Henry viii for years, and I had to respond to the previous reviewer who clearly either doesn't understand quality or has never been there. First of all, the roast beef is consistent and served wonderfully rare at all times. Unlike the Massachusetts places Henry's uses only Certified Angus and proudly displays that fact on the... More

I had driven by this place dozens of times and was intrigued by the name, and I like an occasional roast beef sub, so I stopped by. I got the Henry VIII roast beef sandwich with the homemade horseradish sauce. It was delicious, with a nice homemade roll. They offer a variety of roast beef sandwiches as well as other... More

I truly wanted to like this place....especially as owner is a very nice guy....but dang, there is hardly any roast beef on these sandwhiches....and they are in chunks to boot, not sliced. Plus, you never know if it will be rare (my preference) or tough and well done. VERY expensive for what you get. You are way better off to... More

Absolutely the best sandwiches anywhere. Courteous staff, Impeccably maintained, clean and attractively furnished. But the sandwiches are simply amazing!!

Three stars might not be accurate, but I had high expectations going in. 3.5 is more appropriate. let me say, I really love a good sandwich. This place looks like a great sandwich place. The guy behind the counter was probably the friendliest guy ever to run a register, anywhere, so that was nice. I got the Henry VIII and... More

We have eaten here twice. The sandwiches are good and the staff is courteous. But the dining area is not that comfortable, and a bit sterile.
