Read good reviews about this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. I had the deviled eggs as an appetizer, they were delicious. For a main course I had the Pork Chop with Brussels which was cooked perfectly and topped with a cranberry chutney. Everyone at our...More

My wife and I were staying in York and she wanted to try something different. I thought for sure we would have ended up in Ogunquit or Portsmouth and was surprised to hear she found a spot in Kittery. The downtown was lit up. Easy...More

The Black Birch doesn't look like much from the outside (it's in an old Post Office), and at first glance, the menu choices don't always jump out you, but when you get beyond the superficial, the small plates (think: tapas) are always excellent, innovative, and...More

Great fusion of cuisines - tantalize your taste buds and help you savor all the herbs and spices. Friendly staff - great drinks. The space is tight - and can be very loud because it fills up so fast so it can be very noisy.

We ate a delicious meal at the Black Birch. Although the menu isn't large, they offer a nice selection of appetizers, small plates and main entrees. Our table of 4 ordered a variety of things: for appetizers we ordered babaganoush and duck roulette; small plates...More

Unless you know where to look or are with a local, this is hard to find, but its packed all the same. There is a small sign in the bottom front window in a tiny building that I think used to be a bank. The...More
