When we go to Holbrook's, we go by boat from our home in a nearby cove. It's always a treat. The food is typical fare that you would get at a seaside restaurant where you place your order and pick it up. But It's always a great place to bring family and friends who are visiting for a taste of... More

Cundy's Harbor is this spectacularly gorgeous harbor. It is the oldest operating commercial fishing village in Maine and it looks just like a page out of history! Holbrook's is amazing! You can have a burger, salad, lobster or even the day's featured ice cream. The menu gets larger and better every year. You sit outside overlooking the lobster boats coming... More

Holbrooks lets you see the “working” side of Maine. It is a real fishing village, and you eat right next to the fishing boats that are coming and going. When you sit outside on the deck, you can see and hear the water underneath your feet. You can also visit the restaurant via your boat, with plenty of dock access.... More

Typical snack bar offerings, burgers, fries and such. However, the seafood is fresh, local and expertly prepared in a simple fashion, as the natives enjoy. Good staff, local folks. Outstanding outdoor deck with tables and a great view of the confluence of the New Meadows River and Casco Bay.

Took some friends from out of state while visiting a Maine Fiber Arts exhibit in Topsham. It was an overcast day but warm and I thought they would enjoy eating outside. The "Shack" is located on a pier with plenty of covered and uncovered eating space with tables. The woman who waited on us at the window was pleasant and... More

This lobster wharf is the setting for the ultimate Maine experience. Overlooking an active fishing boat area, the cove is full of lobster and pleasure boats which can be enjoyed from the outdoor picnic tables. There is a full menu of seafood dishes, with fresh caught fish, clams and lobsters. You are allowed to BYOB.

This is the place to go midcoast Maine for that summer day on the wharf seafood lunch. Picnic tables. Plastic utensils. Pretty harbor view. A basket of fried clams, not too greasy, with fries and slaw is more than enough for two people. Very good lobster stew with a light, not too heavy base. Homemade pies. We had rhubarb. Total... My family recently visited and went to Holbrook's for a late lunch. Its a very convenient ride from my home. They raved about the food. Also order dishes to take home for later.

Simple seafood sandwiches and dinners, very fresh, picnic tables on a pier overlooking fishing boats in Cundy's Harbor. BYO wine/beer. A fun place, cheerful service, great for kids and grands alike.

Shame really as this place used to be wonderful. Clams were small, way over-breaded, and, to top it off and adding insult to injury, served cold. So too the French fries. Cole slaw was utterly tasteless. The clam clowder was "clam-less" and gloppy. Just awful all around. We wasted $40 on tasteless lousy food and will never return.
