Went there for dinner this past weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Started off in the tavern for drinks and a "small bite". We had the very small cheese fondue, which came with 3 small pieces of bread (there were 4 of us), a few pieces of Apple, and a few pieces of kielbasa. This was $10 and would normally... More

Thank you, Green Pastures 2016 for taking the time to share your feedback. I really appreciate the comments on the quality of the food. As restaurateurs, daily, we are faced with the conundrum of running a sustainable business while providing value and a quality product. In recent years all of our ingredients have increased in prices - some have even... More

If you dream of the perfect meal in the perfect setting inside a beautiful Maine Inn, then this is the place. Skip the usual tourist trap restaurants in North Conway and drive the extra 20 minutes to the Oxford Inn.

Had dinner with friends during a cottage weekend at this charming inn with nice decor and friendly service. The appetizer that was a hit at our table was the pork stuffed rice cakes with ginger. Favourite main courses were the seared tuna and the beef with gratin potatoes and kale desserts were a disappointment as the pumpkin brioche lacked tastes... More

It is always very hard when you have a group but they let us socialize and relax. Dinner was not rushed. Everyone's food came out together and it was delicious. We had a varied group from the Kobe beef, salmon, lamb shank, steak frite, hamburger, pork chop were all done perfectly and delicious. Cute little bar area and a very... More

We had dinner there before a show at the local performing arts centre. We came early and were the first there and we enjoyed inspecting the beautiful house. Lovely decor and perfectly selected music made a comfortable background to our meal. The meal choices were superb and a surprisingly extensive wine list, not just US brands but a truly global... My wife and I spent two nights at The Oxford House Inn in mid-October, in the peak leaf-viewing season. The Inn looks right out on a wonderful meadow and forest beyond, with iconic autumn colors that were postcard-perfect. Natalie and Jonathan were wonderful hosts, with Jonathan presiding over a breakfast and dinner dining room with great choices and perfect execution.... More

Had dinner here recently with friends. Parking is right outside the inn. A number of small rooms make up the dining area. This creates a cosy, intimate environment. The menu is not large, but has a number of interesting dishes on it. Service was quick and friendly, wine list extensive. We had mussels to start, delicious, but be warned, heavy... More

You would be missing an amazing dining experience if you do not eat at the Oxford House Inn. Natalie and Jonathan has transformed this 1913 Inn into a bustling and delicious venue. You can opt for the screened in porch in the summertime, the inside dining areas with mountain views in Fall and the cozy downstairs Pub in the winter.... More

We enjoyed an early dinner on the enclosed porch so we could take in a bit of the view before sunset. What a lovely sight! And, the food and service were spot on. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant! Call for reservation and be sure to request the porch for a view.

Everything about the Oxford House was excellent...ambience, service and food. Very attentively served by Megan who told us stories (at my prompting) about a certain Mr S King - one of my heroes - who Megan has bumped in to from time to time. Many of Mr King's stories are set around the Fryeburg/Bridgton area and I have been obsessed... More
