We were excited to visit this restaurant but was shocked to be informed that a BBQ place had no ribs at 6:30PM on a Saturday evening. We were forced to order other items from the menu. Although the food was ok, how does a BBQ restaurant not have ribs to serve their customers.

Went here as a group and was seated not too far from the kitchen and we really didn't want to stay after seeing the kitchen. We probably should have just left but we stayed.... Extremely dirty kitchen (as the door opened and closed we could see it all).... food was all over the floor and workers were just walking through... More

I'm sure it was the name that caught our attention. Think of Bob's Country Bunker (Blues Brothers), serving BBQ rather than just beer.

We were staying close by to Buck's so I checked Trip Adviser reviews and we decided to try it. The restaurant was very busy with a 30 min.wait. We were able to take their pager and shop in a nearby store until it was time for our reservation. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious. And I had... More

After filling up on all things seafood, we were looking for a change. Buck's came recommended by a local and it was very good. Obviously, Maine is not know for its bbq like some other states, but if your looking for some good hearty meat and potatoes, this is the place. The ribs are dry ( I actually like it... More

Visited for dinner and was looking forward to this meal based on Trip Advisor reviews. Ordered the 1/2 slab baby back dinner with baked potatoes and salads. The sides were cooked perfectly. The ribs came out looking amazing. When we ate the ribs, they were so dry it was difficult to even eat them. We didn't even finish 1/2 of... More

Tried this place on a whim. Went back the next day too. Great menu selections and friendly staff. Seems like there was nonstop takeout too. They live up to good barbecue! My advice would be to do lunch since we ate everything we ordered!

Hands down some of the best BBQ around. If you are a local or just rolling through town you must try Bucks.

My buddy and I decided to try this BBQ spot. Per usual, when I try a new spot if they have a steak I try it, At best it was ok. The best feature was blue cheese crumbles. It was worth a try, but not returning.

We stopped here for lunch on our road through New England in this beautiful Indian Summer. The Location is nice furnished, we loved it. The food was delicious, good cooked, and fresh and was rapidly served. Reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely return on our next trip through New England and we'll recommend it to our... More
