We had a wonderful experience here. A Local Inn/Restaurant that has been here for years. We were placed in a small alcove at a table for 2, which was perfect for a quiet dinner after a busy shopping day in Freeport. I ordered Eggplant Napoleon which was a beautiful presentation and very delicious! My husband has fish and chips which... More

Very disappointed in the buffet which was $80 pp plus tax and tip. The carver had a fullly cooked real turkey for show next to him, but was carving pieces of of a hotel breast that tasted processed. The pieces he served me were end grizzly skin pieces...the same was true of the beef...the end pieces were under done and... More

This was our third visit here. I do not remember the room being so small. The staff goes out of there way to be helpful. Complimentary breakfast and dinner makes it worthwhile. This trip I was struck by the number of senior citizens staying here, but it was mid- week.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Maine Dining Room while staying at the Harraseeket Inn. Their lobster stew and lobster crepes were a wonderful start to a really good meal on our first night in Maine. My wife found their sautéed duck breast to be perfectly prepared. I chose the quail which also was good though a bit dry... More

My wife and I are locals and have visited the Harraseeket many times for dinner, lunch, cocktails, etc. We held our office Christmas party here on one occasion. The place is clean and perfectly nice. Service very friendly. Excellent outdoor fire pit for enjoying a cocktail on cool fall evenings. Broad Arrow Tavern has good food in a nice atmosphere.... More

This place had great lobster rolls, lobster bisque and whole lobster. Service was fast. It's pretty rustic, just a roadside place, but very popular.

It actually pains me to write this review of a restaurant, the Maine Dining Room, that my husband and I used to frequent when we wanted a classy, fine-dining experience. Our previous table-side-prepared dinners of Chateaubriand, fresh Caesar Salad, and Bananas-Foster-style dessert provided memories of not only delicious food but also exquisite service from a highly trained wait staff. That... More

Enjoyed every meal. Food was plentiful, tasty, and oh so delicious. They support many local farmers and do a great job on farm to table offerings. So much fresh from the farm food.

Brunch was wonderful for my wife, who enjoys Lobster, roast beef, and such. And we both agree that dessert was outstanding. But we called ahead to make sure that a fish entree (fins and scales) would be available, as I don't eat meat or shellfish. The Aloha Poke Tina Cups were delicious, but clearly not an entree. My wife got... More

We enjoyed a nice selection of entree's, salads, and sandwiches while visiting the Tavern. My husband and mother-in-law loved the short ribs. I enjoyed the Lobster Stew. Mac and Cheese is great as well.
