I enjoyed breakfast with a friend. I always order the "Ellsworth" and add tomatoes. The food never disappoints. The owner is always sweet and is sure to come out and say "hi"!

I can't say enough about this place. Amazing unreal delicious 😋Has to be the best breakfast place to go in the town of Ellsworth. There eggs Benny is out of this world. If you have never stopped here you have too I am not joking. You won't regret it I will promise you that. You can thank me later lol.... More
First time here. Had the crab and cheddar quiche, which was excellent! Bottomless cup of very good coffee to and always service with a smile. Hubby had the regular eggs Benedict; the slices of ham were huge!! We'll be back. I'm going to have the eggs Benedict topped with crab!
Met a friend for breakfast at this small family owned diner. Had Mariah as our waitress, she was very friendly and informative about the menu. Mariah happily answered all of our questions with a smile. Omelette was very nicely done, as were the poached eggs. No gluten free options, that's ok. Coffee was fresh, hot, and bottomless! A great place... More
You can't beat this friendly down home diner for breakfast and lunch. We always go for breakfast, but lunch entrees look good as well. No burgers or french fries here. Sandwiches with chips and other things. No fried food. One could faint for the crab benie as they call it. that's eggs benedict topped with fresh Maine crabmeat---Yikes. We are... More
I'm not fond of the politics of the owner and clientele, but that doesn't get in the way of enjoying the friendly atmosphere, great coffee, and diner fare. I give it five stars for being what is: a first rate owner operated greasy spoon. Skip Denny's, go to Martha's.
Chicken soup on a day when I didn't feel well. Just what the Doctor ordered. Fun wait staff. Cute retro celebrity decor. A great switch from typical fast food. Good choice for roadside stop on the way to Acadia National Park.
Anything on the menu is solid. This is where the locals go - SO GO!! Staff was helpful, place was spotless - enjoyed it three times and we were visiting for a only a week.
So much more than what I thought it was - for being located in a side/strip mall, the diner was actually quite homey. The owners and staff are real people too - loved the interaction with everybody. Had my usual eggs over easy on rye, sausage and home fries with lots of coffee. Meal was so good, I read the... More
I was not super impressed with the breakfast. It was crowded ( seemed to be locals) ( not a lot of choices in Ellsworth Maine in the winter) I had chipped beef with toast and it came with biscuits, even though I specifically requested toast. It was good, biscuits were tasty. Home fries were a mix of hot and cold... More
