This is a nice restaurant with great service. And reservations are easy to make, even by telephone message. Stay away from the bar area if you want some quiet though! The food is very good, overall, with a few minor problems. The arancini was amazing!...More

We visited this restaurant for Easter day. We sat at the bar until our table was ready. At the table we were welcomed by Lynn a very frendly waitress, she gave us great reccomendations. I ordered the arancini with pomodoro sauce as an appetizer, they...More

I was at 40 Paper with 9 people who were attending a meeting at Point Lookout in Northport. Although, it looks like a Bar when you first enter, there is a rather nice dining area behind the Bar and an excellent and varied menu. There...More

We are fairly new to Camden and this is one of our new favorite spots! Great drinks and consistently great food. While I would love to see more variety in the appetizer choices, we love the arancini. The menu does change occasionally but we love...More

Had a good dinner on Saturday night - flatbread pizza for me and ravioli for my mother. The drinks list was extensive with some unusual local beers. There's a public parking lot across the street and a circle for drop-offs in front of the restaurant....More

Love this restaurant! Everything was delicious! From the calamari to the fish soup, to the flatbread pizza. Our waitress/bartender was wonderful. She knew exactly what to suggest based on what we told her we were in the mood for. Cocktails were perfectly made. The environment...More

Was told this was an Italian restaurant. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants and would not put this place into that category. Eclectic, yes. Service was extremely slow, however the waitress was very nice. Took 15 mins to order drinks and then another 15 mins to...More

Our group of six visited for dinner before Christmas. We all felt that the food was good, but average. People in my group had artichoke hearts, pork belly, pizza and pasta. I would probably not go back because there are other good choices in Camden.

40 paper offers a nice aside from the standard ‘Maine fare’ of fried seafood and lobster rolls. Creative, locally sourced and delicious! Excellent service, thoughtful wine and beer selections and eclectic atmosphere all make 40 paper a great spot to visit in Camden.

We had been here two years ago, it was a pleasant experience then but not so much this time round. We must have caught, Wind, the bartender on a bad day. Boy was he dry and non-communicative, gruff monosyllables at best. On our last visit...More

All the way in the back—at the round table in the corner. Far away from the noisy bar!

Located in the century-old Knox Mill, our bistro is situated on top of the Megunticook River, just between the two waterfalls. At Brevetto, our modern Italian bistro cuisine is designed to pair perfectly with our extensive– and almost exclusively Italian– wine list. Brevetto is Italian for “patent,” and throughout the restaurant you will find turn-of-the-century schematics of wine presses and odd, out-dated food machines. In stark contrast to the complicated workings of a “salami washing machine,” our menu is simple and straightforward. We feature a large menu with a range of grilled pizzas, Italian pastas, and a variety of entrées. In addition to our extensive wine list, we also have a full bar with artisan draft beers and liquors. Enjoy your dinner in our inviting dining room, or on our waterfront deck. Relax with an obscure Italian red wine at our bar, or an extra-dry gin martini on the leather sofa. Brevetto has some of the best of both worlds, right in downtown Camden.
