Food and service were excellent. If I had a complaint it was that the portions were too large. Great presentation, nice touches in the dining room and truly an attentive staff. Reasonable wine list in terms of price and selection. Highly recommended.

Excellent in all categories. The wonderful owners really know how to look after their guests. I recommend you try this place if you are staying in Camden. The attention to detail beats many 5 star hotels. Mike & Lyn from UK

Have been dining at Hartstone for years and LOVE it. Consistently great food and service. And the best soufflés ever. It's always at the very top of my restaurant list. YUM!

We had dinner on July 4. The atmosphere is elegant, the service was exceptional and the food was perfect. We had the Lobster Corn Chowder, the Lobster Cobb Salad and the almond and blueberry soufflé. Everything was delicious.

Chef Michael is an amazing Chef. Everywhere we stayed in Maine, locals asked if we ate at the Hartstone. Even if you aren't staying here you HAVE to eat dinner at this wonderful inn.
