We drove up from Gardiner, where we're renting a cottage on Pleasant Pond -- not the Pleasant Pond near Bingham, but a different one further south. We wanted to experience the fall foliage in its full splendor, and we truly did, as in this part of Maine the peak was the Columbus Day weekend. We were also meeting a childhood... More

Just a quick review of this small restaurant on Main Street, Bingham, ME. Out for a ride and this was our destination for breakfast. We got there later than we planned and there were a lot of filled tables. Needless to say, we waited quite a while to be served. The server was very pleasant and did apologize for the... More

Great little home cooking restaurant like we used to have. NO BAR TVS. it was great. All home cooking from their own donuts and berry muffins, country breakfast, to Sunday dinner fare. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped at Thompson's Restaurant in Bingham as I was very hungry and hadn't passed a restaurant in awhile. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious haddock chowder, good service, and local atmosphere. If I'm in the area again, I'd certainly stop.

Very accommodating of requests and friendly. Fresh pies, good burgers. Hand cut fries, sweet or white potato, and nice beer and wine section.

Spaghetti and meatballs, meatloaf, turkey dinner on Sunday. Just good food at a good price. This is a destination restaurant for us. The drive up Rt 201 is relaxing and beautiful. Have a nice lunch and then complete the loop by driving Rt 16 over the mountain. Stop in Kingsbury at the lake and then continue to Abbott. Haddock sandwich... More

I had read a few great reviews of this place, so we stopped here for lunch. SO GLAD we did. Great diner type food, friendly service and fresh baked goods. What more could you ask for? I had a great fish sandwich and my husband had the special, which was turkey with stuffing, potatoes and gravy. All yummy. We finished... More

We had lunch there which was fresh and nice and then came the desert... A fabulouse blubery pie and a gorgeous apple crisps with vanilla ice cream. The service was great the young waitress was patience and welcoming. A nice surprise in a very long day. One of old Canada road best things beside the views.

Thank Movtal
